Why Reddit and X are harder than review platforms

What if it's already been screenshotted or reposted?

Pursuing removal of the original post is still worth doing even after it's spread. It stops the source from continuing to rank in search results and being re-shared from that specific link, even though it can't retroactively erase copies that already exist elsewhere. Removal requests also go through the reporting process based on the content itself breaching platform rules, not on whether the poster's identity is known. An anonymous or pseudonymous account doesn't put a post out of reach.
